This secluded camp returns to safari principles in flair, remaining private and intimate with just trumpeting elephants for company. Three open-air ”bandas’ (stone huts), including one bigger family unit, are located on the sandy banks of a palm-lined dry riverbed in the Sera Conservancy, which is owned by the community. Visitors come to track black rhinos on foot, an exciting experience available in only a few areas, and to learn about the reintroduction of these regionally extinct creatures. The isolation of a safari area that is still relatively unknown to most is the main draw.
